About the position
Responsibilities
Full care of the children, organising their daily routine, developmental and creative activities, games and age-appropriate activities. Supporting early development, teaching good manners and social skills. Monitoring the children's health, wellbeing and safety, administering first aid when needed. Preparing healthy, balanced meals for the children and helping during mealtimes. Full hygiene care for the children. Keeping the children's rooms and play areas tidy, caring for children's clothing, linen, toys and accessories, washing the children's clothes. Accompanying the family on international trips, organising the children's leisure and activities while travelling. Communicating with the parents and keeping them informed about the children's development, routine, nutrition and wellbeing.
Requirements
If the candidate has perfect command of Russian, English is not mandatory. However, other languages are encouraged (Spanish, German or Chinese will be a plus). Substantial experience as a nanny is required, preferably in high-end private families, as well as experience of looking after several children at once, including very young ones. An understanding of early development and children's emotional needs. A relevant qualification in education, early development, childcare or medicine is desirable, as is knowledge of paediatric first aid. A driving licence and confident driving experience are mandatory. Knowledge of the Montessori, Pikler or Waldorf methods is welcome. Complete confidentiality is essential.
